
Dr. Amruta Garud
Dr. Amruta Garud is an esteemed architect and urban and rural planner with a distinguished academic and professional background. She holds a Ph.D. in Technology and Development from IIT Bombay, a post-graduate degree in Urban and Rural Planning from IIT Roorkee, and a bachelor's degree in Architecture from Pune University. Her career spans academia, research, and practice in Architecture and Planning. Dr. Garud is currently an Assistant Professor at Dr. Bhanuben Nanawati College of Architecture (BNCA) in Pune, and other that academics, she oversees the BHUMI GIS research lab at BNCA. Her research interests encompass urban and regional planning, spatial data analysis, sustainable development, and GIS applications. Dr. Garud has contributed to several significant projects and has been recognized with numerous scholarly achievements and publications.
